DAY 1-3 SWAYAMBHUNATH
Swayambhunath, often called the “Monkey Temple,” is one of Nepal’s oldest and most sacred Buddhist sites, perched atop a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Its iconic white stupa, crowned with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, radiates both mystery and serenity, drawing pilgrims from around the world. Encircled by prayer wheels, shrines, and fluttering prayer flags, the site hums with centuries of devotion, where every stone feels steeped in wisdom and awakening.

DAY 3-7 BOUDHANATH
Boudha, or Boudhanath, is a vibrant spiritual center in Kathmandu anchored by one of the largest and most majestic stupas in the world. Encircled by a constant stream of pilgrims spinning prayer wheels and chanting mantras, the stupa radiates a deep sense of peace and timeless devotion. With Tibetan monasteries, incense-filled shops, and the soft murmur of prayer, Boudha feels like a living mandala.

DAY 7-10 NAMO BUDDHA RESORT
Namo Buddha is a peaceful, eco-friendly retreat nestled in the lush hills near the sacred pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan foothills. Built in traditional Newari style with natural materials, the resort blends comfort with sustainability, featuring organic gardens, cozy cottages, and a tranquil, off-grid atmosphere. It’s a haven for rest, reflection, and connection with nature, local culture, and the deeper rhythms of life.

MEDITATION & TEACHINGS
We will have daily meditation practice guided by Cory. Drawing on the teachings of his teachers Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche & Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche we will explore traditional śamatha (calm abiding) to open awareness practices.

As we visit monasteries and other sites, we will have the honor of sitting with local monks and other teachers who will share wisdom in their homeland.
